Athens Township Planning Commission

The Athens Township Planning Commission is an advisory board responsible for reviewing subdivision and land development plans or proposals prior to submission to Board of Supervisors. The Planning commission will recommend approval or disapproval to the Board of Supervisors. The Board of Supervisors has full authority to grant or deny the plans or proposals.

The Planning Commission meets once a month, generally on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 PM unless the first Monday is a holiday, then the meeting will be held the following Monday. The meetings are open to the public.

The (5) Planning Commission members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors. They are:

Scot Saggiomo, Chairman
Clifton Cheeks, Vice Chairman
Marion Carling
Martha Brennan
Jean Stromick

Elaine Daddona is the secretary for the commission.
